Lahaina Bird Stand

It’s true, the Lahaina Bird Stand is now at South Maui Gardens! Tentative hours are Monday through Friday from 10AM–2PM (weather and wind permitting). Saturdays are available by appointment only. They are closed on Sundays. Pricing starts at $50 for this special experience taken by professional photographers. For over two decades, the Lahaina Bird Stand was a beloved attraction on Front Street in Lahaina, bringing joy to visitors from around the world. Many returning guests still have photos taken by David and Barrie with their brilliant birds.

After the tragic Lahaina fire in August 2023, we’re grateful that David, Barrie, and the birds made it to safety—and even more grateful to now host them at South Maui Gardens. These photos are not only a fun experience, but a way to preserve the spirit of old Lahaina and carry its aloha into the future.
